Former LSU defensive back Jamal Adams has found a new home. He gets to reunite with one of his former coaches.
Adams is heading to Las Vegas. The Raiders, entering their first season under Pete Carroll, have signed the veteran safety. Carroll has familiarity with Adams from their days in Seattle. Adams was a member of the Seahawks from 2020-23.

An All-SEC selection in 2016, Adams has been playing professionally since 2017. He was selected No. 6 overall by the New York Jets in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Adams spent his first 3 seasons with the Jets (2017-19). He made the PFWA All-Rookie Team in his first season and was named first-team All-Pro in his final season.
In his final two seasons with the Jets, Adam was selected to the Pro Bowl. The streak continued to 3 years in 2020, his first season with the Seattle Seahawks.
Adams remained in Seattle through the 2023 season. He signed a 1-year deal with the Titans ahead of the 2024 season.
Things did not go as planned for Adams in the Music City. He was released by the Titans in October and then signed with the Detroit Lions. Adams played in only 5 total games during the 2024 season.
