Micah Parsons saw his contract dispute with the Dallas Cowboys come to an end last week when he was sent to the Green Bay Packers in a blockbuster trade.

Dallas fans were heartbroken about the trade, as the team traded away one of its most popular players. One of those young fans went viral for his reaction to finding out about the trade. However, Parsons saw the video, and decided to reach out to the fan with an offer of a new jersey.

The former Cowboys star did a video call with the fan, making sure he knew how much he appreciated having fans like him. He promised to send a new jersey as well, turning the sad situation into an experience that might never be forgotten.

Parsons played 4 seasons in Dallas, finishing with 256 tackles, 52.5 sacks, and 9 FF.

For fans of Dallas sports, this wasn’t the first time a team in the city traded away a superstar player. The Dallas Mavericks made a similar blockbuster last season when they traded away Luka Doncic.

The Cowboys will now look to win back the fanbase with their play on the football field when the season starts in 5 days. They will be on the road on Thursday, taking on the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
