The NFL has finalized its Christmas Day schedule for the 2025 season.
It was previously-announced that the Broncos and Chiefs will kick off in prime time on Amazon on Dec. 25. In addition to that contest, there will be 2 Christmas Day games broadcast on Netflix for the second year in a row.
At 1 p.m. ET, the Dallas Cowboys will take on the Washington Commanders in Washington. In the afternoon slot, the Minnesota Vikings will host the Detroit Lions at 4:30 p.m. ET. That means all 3 games on Christmas in 2025 will be played between divisional foes.

The Cowboys vs. Commanders game will be a matchup between 2 former SEC quarterbacks in Dak Prescott (Mississippi State) and Jayden Daniels (LSU). Daniels is fresh off of a Rookie of the Year campaign while Prescott will be playing in his 10th NFL season in 2025. Dallas and Washington split their regular-season series a year ago.
Netflix is now in the 2nd year of a 3-year deal with the NFL to broadcast select games on Christmas Day.
While there’s still a few months remaining before the regular season kicks off, the annual Hall-of-Fame Game is just over 2 months away. The Chargers and Lions will face off in that game on July 31 in Canton, Ohio.
