Tom Brady was on the call with Kevin Burkhardt in Week 2 of the NFL season as they were broadcasting the Dallas Cowboys against the Washington Commanders. During the game, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott delivered a beautiful completion that had Brady extremely impressed.
In the heat of the moment, he used colorful language to describe the throw, calling it ‘an absolute piss missile. Also, quarterback Jayden Daniels left the game with a really bad elbow injury, and Brady responded with a ‘Oh, s-t’.”
During a podcast this week, Brady apologized for his choice of words, saying he was “embarrassed.”
“I’m actually kind of embarrassed,” Brady said. “There’s a lot of grandmas at home that probably aren’t very happy with my mouth on Fox. I’m gonna fix that. Sorry, I apologize.”

Brady is still relatively new when it comes to the broadcast booth, as last year was his first year as an analyst. Pairing up with Burkhardt, he has the biggest game on FOX each week.
While he was impressed with Prescott’s ability, the quarterback matchup Brady has in Week 3 features Josh Allen and Justin Herbert, two quarterbacks who have as big an arm as any quarterback in the NFL. Both of those guys are expected to be making some high-level throws, and we will see how Brady describes those big-time throws on Sunday.
