Alabama safety Keon Sabb joined the Crimson Tide program from the transfer portal in 2024, fresh off winning a national championship with Michigan.

As the fifth-year player wraps up his college career in 2026, his younger brother will be starting one of his own in Tuscaloosa.

Amari Sabb, a 2026 recruit with an athlete designation, has committed to the Tide, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday. Sabb is considered the No. 24 player in the state of New Jersey on 247Sports’ Composite rankings.

The younger Sabb has proven to be a terrific high school player on both sides of the ball. As a senior at Glassboro (N.J.) High School, he ran 65 times for 823 yards and 14 touchdowns. That’s on top of his 916 yards and 12 touchdowns on 53 catches as a receiver, giving him 1,739 scrimmage yards and 26 total TDs. On defense, he made 28 tackles and pulled in six interceptions.

He’ll now head to Alabama to join his older brother, who was one of the Tide’s top defenders in 2025. Keon Sabb finished the season with 54 tackles, fifth on the team. He also posted 2.5 tackles for a loss, 1.0 sacks, and an interception.

And there could be a third Sabb brother on his way to Tuscaloosa in the near future. Xavier Sabb, a five-star 2027 wide receiver whose offer list includes Alabama, is ranked as a top 25 recruit in his class.

Meanwhile, here are Amari Sabb’s senior year highlights, courtesy of Hudl:
