Idaho stuns No. 1 Montana State, snaps 19-game winning streak with unreal final sequence

Week 5 of the college football season got off to a hot start on Friday night with tons of action from all around the country unfolding as a preview to what looks to be loaded Saturday slate.

One of the more underrated games from Friday night actually came from the FCS level between the No. 1 ranked Montana State Bobcats and the Idaho Vandals out in the Kibbie Dome. The previously winless Vandals stunned the reigning FCS national champions thanks to one of the most insane final sequences in recent college football memory.

With time winding down in the game, senior Idaho quarterback Joshua Wood completed a pass inside the Bobcat 30, but it appeared as if time had expired. Upon review, the refs put 1 second back on the clock, giving Wood and Vandals one final play.

The senior leader took full advantage of this last chance, stepping up into the pocket and connecting with junior wide out Ryan Jezioro as time expired to secure the massive upset win.

This unreal sequence snapped a 19-game winning streak for Montana will giving Idaho their first win of the season after they started out 0-4. Check it out below:
