Drew Brees may not be leaving NBC Sports after all.

The former New Orleans Saints quarterback, who joined NBC Sports last season as an NFL analyst, clarified his plans after a report from Andrew Marchand of the New York Post suggested Brees is not returning to NBC.

It appears Brees has several options, and he laid out a list of scenarios, both personally and professionally, with a tweet on Sunday evening.

“Despite speculation from media about my future this fall, Iโ€™m currently undecided. I may work for NBC, I may play football again, I may focus on business and philanthropy, I may train for the pickleball tour, senior golf tour, coach my kids or all of the above. Iโ€™ll let you know.”

If Brees, in fact, steps down, some of the reasons may point to his up and down rookie season that was highlighted by a poor performance in his biggest broadcast of the year, the Bengals-Raiders playoff game.
