Art Briles made an appearance on the field after the conclusion of Oklahoma’s game vs. SMU game Saturday.

Here’s a photo of him with OU offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby, who is also Briles’ son-in-law.

Oklahoma athletics director Joe Castiglione released a statement following the game.

“I was just as disappointed as many of our fans when I learned of the postgame situation tonight,” Castiglione said. “It shouldn’t have happened and it was my expectation it never would, based on boundaries we previously set. I’ve addressed it with the appropriate staff.”

Briles is the former head coach of Baylor and was fired in 2016 after investigations into the school’s failure to handle sexual assault claims, including claims from football players.

Lebby, who is a former assistant at Baylor, was spoke about Briles’ presence after the game.

“He’s my father-in-law. That’s the grandfather of my two kids,” Lebby said in a postgame press conference. “So he was down with our entire family after the game.

Lebby took his defense a step further on Sunday, changing his profile picture on Instagram to a photo with himself and Briles on Oklahoma’s field.
