The No. 1 quarterback in the Class of 2023, and well-known SEC legacy, Arch Manning will visit Ole Miss at the end of the month.

The news comes from recruiting analyst Yancy Porter, who said the date will be July 26th. Manning in recent weeks has visited Georgia, Clemson, Alabama, LSU, Texas and SMU. He is rated the No. 1 player in Louisiana, the No. 1 QB in 2023, and the No. 2 player nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite. He has a reported 12 offers.

Already a well-known recruit partly because of his last name, Manning still has two seasons of high school football to play before he ever signs with his respective college of choice.

The 6-foot-4, 208-pound Manning has started for Isidore Newman in New Orleans since his freshman season and has thrown for more than 4,000 yards and 55 touchdowns during that time.

In 2020, he was 146-for-219 passing for 1,922 yards, 21 TD and 7 INT, per OM Spirit, and in 2020, he led Isidore Newman to a 9-1 record and Louisiana Division III state semifinal berth as a sophomore. In 2019 as a freshman, he led New Orleans Isidore Newman to a 9-2 record and second-round playoff appearance in Louisiana’s Division III bracket.
