DK Metcalf sets rookie record on incredible game-clinching catch for Seattle
DK Metcalf has social media buzzing on Sunday.
The rookie wide receiver had an incredible touchdown catch in the first half of the Philadelphia-Seattle Wild Card game. In the second half, he clinched the victory for the Seahawks with another highlight grab.

In addition to giving Seattle a first down and allowing the Seahawks to run out the clock, it put Metcalf in the record books. The former Ole Miss standout posted the most receiving yards (160) by a rookie in his postseason debut. Jeremy Maclin held the previous record with 146 receiving yards.
Metcalf’s big outing had many people talking about the fact that he was drafted at the end of the second round. Ole Miss football’s social media account had some fun with that discussion.

Metcalf will look to lead Seattle to another playoff victory in next week’s division round matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
