Ole Miss has made another huge addition in the transfer portal, according to a report.

Former South Carolina receiver Juice Wells told ESPN’s Mark Schlabach on Sunday that he has committed to Ole Miss. Juice was widely-regarded as one of the top available wide receivers in the portal.

Wells was limited by injury in 2023, but showed off his considerable upside in 2022. That season, he caught 68 passes for 928 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wells averaged 13.6 yards per reception in that campaign.

In 2023, Wells played in only 3 games for South Carolina as he managed a foot injury. He caught 3 passes for 37 yards and 1 touchdown in his limited reps.

Wells joins an elite group of transfers who has already committed to Ole Miss this offseason. The Rebels seem to be building one of the top transfer classes of any program in the country this cycle.

Wells would be the 9th transfer to commit to Ole Miss this offseason. Other key transfers include Key Lawrence, Princely Umanmielen, Tyler Baron and Chris Paul Jr. Ole Miss has the No. 2-ranked transfer class nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Wells spent the first 2 seasons of his collegiate career at James Madison. He will have 1 year of eligibility remaining.
