Ole Miss continues to rack up transfers, and lately, the Rebels have stacked linemen.

The latest is Julius Buelow, a Washington transfer, who followed a commitment from former Washington offensive lineman Nate Kalepo. They were part of the Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line at UW, considered the best in the country. Buelow played both guard spots at Washington last season, and has one season of eligibility remaining.

Buelow played in 8 of the Huskies’ 13 games in 2022, and in 2021 he started each of the first 5 games at left guard and played in the first 10 games of the season. He played in one game in 2020, and redshirted in 2019.

Buelow is from Kapolei, Hawai’i, and coming out of high school, he was ranked by 247Sports as the No. 288 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 29 offensive tackle and the No. 4 recruit in Hawai’i.

Buelow is 6-foot-8 and 313 pounds and started the final 9 games of the 2023 season for Washington after he missed time because of an injury.

Buelow adds notable size to the line, and along with tackle Micah Pettus, Ole Miss has 4 players with starting experience who are at least 6-foot-6.

The Washington duo joins North Carolina tackle Diego Pounds and Southern Miss guard Gerquan Scott in newcomers to the Sip. And then starters like Pettus, Caleb Warren and Jeremy James, and Jayden Williams, are also back.
