Ole Miss made a huge addition in the transfer portal on Thursday morning.

The Rebels earned a commitment from former Washington offensive lineman Nate Kalepo. He was a pivotal part of the Washington offensive line this past season as the Huskies took home the Joe Moore Award.

Kalepo shared the news of his commitment with On3’s Hayes Fawcett:

Kalepo started all 15 games for the Huskies this past season, with 14 of those starts coming at left guard. He also made one start at right guard during the 2023 campaign.

Washington’s offensive line was outstanding in 2023, particularly in pass protection. The Huskies allowed just 12 sacks all season and helped Michael Penix Jr. throw for 4,903 yards across 15 games.

Kalepo is Ole Miss’ 16 transfer addition so far in this cycle. He’s the 3rd offensive lineman to join Ole Miss via the portal and is expected to compete for a significant role at offensive guard for the Rebels next season.

Kalepo has 1 season of eligibility remaining.
