For Ole Miss fans in need of a little extra motivation to watch their Rebels host the No. 1 team in the nation, that’s nothing a little Happy Hour can’t fix.

The school is running a promotion ahead of the game against Alabama, enticing fans to arrive several hours before the teams kick off. All concessions and beverages will be 50-percent off for fans who make it to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium between 3 and 4 p.m. for a 5 p.m. C.T. start.

The Vaught will be limited to 25 percent of its 64,000-seat capacity for the Rebels’ 2nd home game of the season. The school announced Monday that the student section had sold out for the Alabama game.

As mandated by the state of Mississippi, all tailgating and social gatherings on campus are prohibited during game day. Fans must wear a mask at all times throughout the stadium.

While food and drinks can get fans through the gates, will the football be close enough to keep them there through the final whistle?
