Reports: Chad Kelly's Pro Day ended early due to hand injury
Former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly’s already precarious draft stock may have taken another hit on Monday, as he left the Rebels’ Pro Day early with an apparently hand/wrist injury.
Kelly and the Rebels had a disappointing regular season which saw the Rebels miss a bowl game and Kelly sidelined for the final three games with a knee injury. His mechanics, injuries, and off the field issues bring a level of risk to any NFL team that would potentially use a draft pick on him, as he was unable to work out at the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine due to the injury.
Now, it appears another ailment has popped up for the senior signal caller, as several reports state that he was unable to complete the throwing portion of Ole Miss’ Pro Day due to a newly-developed hand injury.
