Fresh off an SEC Defensive Player of the Week honor, Ole Miss defensive Robert Nkemdiche is projected to go No. 1 overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the latest 2016 NFL mock draft by CBS Sports.

One of the league’s most dominant defensive players is coming off what many consider his best career game, a six-tackle effort in Saturday’s win at Alabama.

Boisterous on the interior, Nkemdiche’s a three-down player at the next level with superstar potential. He’s one of three Rebels whose garnered a first-round projection by analyst Rob Rang, joining offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (5th) and wideout Laquon Treadwell (24th).

Widely-considered the best draft-eligible cornerback in college football, Florida’s Vernon Hargreaves could be the first defensive back taken off the board inside the Top 10. This projection has the former five-star signee going No. 7 overall to the Tennessee Titans.

Fellow SEC ballhawk Tre’Davious White from LSU is listed at No. 11 to the Buffalo Bills, two spots behind Florida State corner Jalen Ramsey.
