The SEC got off to a hot start in the 6th round of the NFL draft with 4 selections within the first 9 picks.

Also in the 6th round, Arkansas had its first pick taken when DT Jonathan Marshall went to the New York Jets. Kentucky also had 3 players taken, and Alabama saw the first long snapper drafted in this class.

Missouri added to its draft class, and with 2 more picks in the 6th round, the Tigers’ five-man draft class is its biggest since a six-man class in 2009. Interestingly enough, the 2009 class included Chase Daniel, who wasn’t drafted but is the only Mizzou player from that class still in the NFL.
