The 2019 MLB Draft starts on June 3 in Secaucus, New Jersey, so that means it is now less than two weeks away.

On Wednesday, Bleacher Report’s Joel Reuter released his updated first-round mock draft, and included are three current SEC players and one LSU football commit.

As you can see below, he has Vanderbilt OF JJ Bleday leading the way at No. 6 overall:

  • No. 6 — JJ Bleday, OF, Vanderbilt — San Diego Padres
  • No. 12 — Zack Thompson, LHP, Kentucky — New York Mets
  • No. 23 — Kameron Misner, OF, Mizzou — Colorado Rockies
  • No. 26 — Maurice Hampton, OF, LSU football commit — Arizona Diamondbacks

Hampton is a 4-star cornerback who is committed to play both football and baseball for the Tigers next fall. However, if he goes in Round 1 of the draft, he’ll have a tough decision to make.
