All SEC teams will face Texas or Oklahoma during the 2024 regular season, according to a report.

That’s per SEC Network’s Peter Burns, who broke that news on Wednesday morning. The SEC is set to reveal its full 2024 schedule on Wednesday evening.

The SEC will play 8 conference games in 2024. That means Texas and Oklahoma will each play half of the league’s 14 programs and each other during their first campaign in the SEC.

Texas is expected to renew its rivalry with Texas A&M upon joining the SEC. The Longhorns and Aggies last played in 2011 — a game Texas won 27-25 in College Station.

Similarly, Oklahoma is expected to have Missouri as a permanent rival in the SEC. The old Big 12 foes last played in 2011 when the Sooners knocked off Mizzou 38-28 in Norman.

The Longhorns will complete a home-and-home series with Alabama in 2023, so it’s possible the Crimson Tide will end up with Oklahoma on their 2024 schedule. Alabama last faced the Sooners in 2018 in the College Football Playoff.

The 2024 SEC schedule release will be broadcast on SEC Network Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET
