The AP Top 25 for Week 4 has been released.

The SEC has 9 teams included in the poll this week, up from 8 in Week 3. Texas A&M — who received votes last week — jumped back in at No. 25 for Week 4 after its dominant win in The Swamp over the weekend.

Georgia lost the No. 1 spot in the AP poll this week after its 13-12 win over Kentucky. Texas jumped over the Bulldogs to claim the No. 1 ranking for the first time since the 2008 season.

The SEC still owns 6 of the top 7 spots in the poll, with Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Missouri filing in after Ohio State at No. 3 overall.

Elsewhere down the board, Oklahoma retained the No. 15 spot while LSU stuck at No. 16 in the polls this week. The Sooners struggled at home against Tulane in Week 3 while the Tigers picked up a close SEC road win at South Carolina.

The Big Ten earned 7 spots in the top 25 this week. It was a relatively quiet slate for the league, as top teams like No. 3 Ohio State, No. 10 Penn State and No. 11 USC were idle.

No. 9 Oregon had its biggest win of the season, however, in Week 3. The Ducks crushed rival Oregon State on the road 49-14. Michigan had another inconsistent performance, but defeated Arkansas State rather easily in the end.

Toward the end of the poll, Nebraska retained its top 25 spot at No. 22 after not playing in Week 3. Illinois jumped into the top 25 this week at No. 24.
