Former Auburn wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig has officially joined Les Miles’ staff at LSU.

Rumors connected Craig to the Bayou Bengals this morning, and LSU made it official this afternoon.

Craig, an Auburn quarterback from 1994-1997, has been on the Auburn staff since the 2013 season. 247Sports recently ranked Craig as college football’s No. 4 recruiter in the 2016 cycle. Former LSU recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson left last month to become the head coach at Texas-San Antonio.

On Saturday, LSU announced that wide receivers coach Tony Ball was leaving the staff to pursue other opportunities. Ball joined LSU last February after nine seasons on Georgia’s staff.

Craig previously served as a graduate assistant at LSU in 2004.
