The latest Coaches Poll is out and the SEC has 5 teams in the Top 25, dropping 1 from last week’s poll.

Alabama and Texas A&M both fell in the SEC’s 2 biggest games of the weekend, mirroring an ugly Week 1 where Florida, South Carolina and LSU all lost games against big-name non-conference opponents. The SEC only has 3 wins against the Power 5 so far this season: Tennessee over Virginia, Auburn over Cal and Mississippi State over Arizona.

Not exactly needle movers.

Despite the rough start, the SEC still has the No. 1 team in the land according to the coaches: Georgia. The Bulldogs beat up on Ball State, 45-3 to improve to 2-0 on the year with South Carolina on the docket for next week.

5 teams are ranked in the latest poll: Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss and LSU.

7 programs received votes Sunday: Kentucky, Mississippi State, Arkansas, South Carolina, Auburn, Missouri and Texas A&M. Florida and Vanderbilt were the sole teams without a vote.
