Deion Sanders is still in his first year at Colorado, but Stephen A. Smith thinks Coach Prime needs to be in the SEC.

On Get Up on Monday, the crew discussed who could fill the opening at Texas A&M following Jimbo Fisher’s firing, and Smith believes it’s a perfect opportunity to get Sanders to the SEC.

He believes coaching in the SEC would give him a whole new vault of players to recruit.

“Deion Sanders in the SEC with that vault that they have available to them, with them hogs that he could recruit,” Smith said. “Cause he doesn’t have them at Colorado, and he ain’t gonna get them. Texas A&M, primetime Deion Sanders in the SEC, that needs to happen.”

While it doesn’t seem like Sanders will be heading to the SEC this season, it’s hard to deny that Prime at Texas A&M would be a fun combination. Sanders has had mixed results in his first season at Colorado, picking up some good wins to start the season, but going stagnant as of late.
