Division II follows Division III’s lead, cancels fall championships

On Wednesday, the Division III Presidents Council announced that all fall sports championships had been canceled this year.
Later on Wednesday, the Division II Presidents Council followed suit, also deciding to cancel this fall’s championship games across all sports.
As you can see below, all 7 championships at the DII level have now been canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic:

That’s a lot of championships that have now been canceled, but many of these DII and DIII conferences have already postponed their fall seasons.
Now, we have to wait to see what the Division I Board of Presidents decides to do with their fall championships.
