Four-star running back Elijah Holyfield, son of former heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield, says he’ll sign with an SEC program in 2016.

The talented ballcarrier out of Atlanta said Thursday on Twitter that he’ll verbally commit in September during a ceremony at his school and choose between Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Auburn.

According to 247Sports’ Crystal Ball on Holyfield, Auburn has a slight edge over Georgia to land him.

Fellow four-star RB B.J. Emmons (Morganton, N.C.) committed to Alabama on Monday, which could hurt the Crimson Tide’s chances. Out of Holyfield’s five finalists, the Tigers, Bulldogs and Vols haven’t yet received a commitment from a running back for 2016.

Holyfield stands just under 6-feett and weighs 205 pounds. He’s been timed at 4.5 in the 40.
