One might say it’s not the best idea to talk smack to Tom Brady with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

Don’t say that to former Volunteer and current Denver Broncos defensive end Malik Jackson.

The fourth-year pro had plenty to say about the future NFL Hall of Famer before the Broncos get set to face the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game this weekend.

Here’s what Jackson had to say on “Pro Football Talk Live” on Tuesday:

“I mean when we played him he definitely threw some temper tantrums,” Jackson said. “It’s one of those things that you know. He definitely (says), ‘What’s going on? Why?’ Definitely one of those whiners that whines, but it’s a competitive game. I know I wouldn’t be whining like that, but some people do. So he’s definitely a whiner but he’s actually a big time player, competitor, too.”

Jackson’s comments came after fellow defensive end Antonio Smith said Brady had “crybaby” reactions after taking hits.

The Broncos and Patriots face off at 3:05 p.m. ET this Sunday.
