We’ve seen two SEC teams make the College Football Playoff (and advance to the national championship game), one college football analyst thinks the conference will take three of the four spots this season.

On Saturday, FOX Sports shared the Big Noon Kickoff crew’s CFP picks. Former Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn went SEC-heavy with Georgia, Alabama and Florida joining Clemson. Quinn was the only one to have the Big 12 getting left out in a season where only three of the Power 5 conferences are on track to play.

Florida was the only SEC team to be picked by all four analysts. Former Gators coach Urban Meyer has UF as his only SEC team. Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart have Florida and Alabama both making the Playoff. Dan Mullen is looking to take UF to its first CFP since the playoff was brought to the FBS starting in 2014. The Gators have gone 21-5 in two seasons under Mullen, winning a pair of New Year’s Six bowls.

Obviously, the analysts made their picks based on Big Ten teams not being able to play in the CFP. The conference will reportedly vote on a mid-October start that could allow the teams to make the 2020 CFP.
