Jaguars owner Shad Khan issues statement about Urban Meyer’s status, future

Jaguars owner Shad Khan has issued a statement in response to the questionable video that surfaced over the weekend of Urban Meyer at a bar with a woman that wasn’t his wife grinding on him.
Khan said he addressed the issue with Meyer, but their conversation will be kept private. He did call the behavior last weekend following the Jacksonville game in Cincinnati “inexcusable.” Khan believes Meyer’s remorse is sincere.
“Now, he must regain our trust and respect,” Khan said in the statement. “That will require a personal commitment from Urban to everyone who supports, represents or plays for our team. I am confident he will deliver.”
On Monday, Meyer said at a press conference that he’s apologized to his family, the team and organization.
