Kris Jones, a Class of 2024 linebacker out of Fairfax, Virginia, announced Sunday afternoon that he will play for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.

It seems we say it every week at this point, but Jones’ commitment makes the rich even richer down in Athens. Jones is Georgia’s 26th commitment and 18th blue-chip commitment in the 2024 cycle.

Of course, the Bulldogs boast the No. 1 overall recruiting class by a wide margin according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

Jones is the nation’s No. 133 ranked prospect, as well as the No. 9 LB and No. 2 player out of Virginia. He hails from Fairfax HS and stands at 6-2, 220 pounds. He picked the Bulldogs over Florida, though he held offers from several top programs across the country.

Georgia now holds verbal pledges from the No. 2 (Justin Williams) and No. 9 overall linebackers in the Class of 2024.
