College football fans will be seeing Les Miles on their TVs this fall – just not on the sidelines.

The former LSU coach told WAFB sports anchor Jacques Doucet that he will be doing television work for multiple networks this fall. At this time, there aren’t further details as to which networks will employ Miles.

We know at least one family member endorses Miles’ move to TV. At SEC Media Days, Miles’ daughter, Smacker, expressed her desire to see the former coach settle into a long-term TV career. She did, however, say that Miles still really wants to coach.

One sportsbook recently set odds on whether Miles will hold a TV job, return to coaching or simple enjoy retirement for the 2018 season.

Whether it’s in the booth or the studio, we’re looking forward to seeing The Mad Hatter back this fall.
