LOOK: Hugh Freeze's medical chair has made it into press box at Louisiaina
Hugh Freeze spent his first game as Liberty’s head football coach in a hospital bed in the press box. What’s in store for Week 2? Well, the Flames are on the road to play Louisiana-Lafayette, and Freeze will be coaching from a “medical chair.”
That’s right, Freeze will again be in the press box with a special setup so that he can be there to guide Liberty from above. On Friday, Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger tweeted a picture of Freeze’s chair already set up at Cajun Field, the site of Saturday’s game:

Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports also tweeted a picture of Freeze’s chair, and Freeze even took to Twitter to ask Forde for more information about the medical chair and its view of the field:
Pat, does it raise high enough for me to see the field and swivel 180 degrees and get stuck there if we aren’t moving the ball ?

Freeze is going to new lengths to make sure he can be there for his new team early in the season.

Freeze, who coached at Ole Miss from 2012-16, returned to college football when he was hired by Liberty this past offseason. The Flames lost his debut, falling to No. 21 Syracuse 24-0 last Saturday.
Liberty and Louisiana-Lafayette will kick off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
