It’s that time of year again, that’s right, it’s NFL mock draft season.

Mel Kiper recently released his first of what is likely to be a dozen mock drafts leading up the 2018 NFL Draft. While his first mocks are usually open to ridiculing once the actual draft arrives, he’s been less than accurate making many picks in recent seasons, here’s his initial take on who will be selected in the first round of the upcoming draft.

The only SEC schools listed are Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and Texas A&M. LSU is noticeably absent, despite having half a dozen Tigers leave school early for the NFL.

Minkah Fitzpatrick is listed at #6 (New York Jets), Calvin Ridley at #8 (Chicago), Roquan Smith at #10 (Oakland), Da’Ron Payne at #17 (Los Angeles Chargers), Carlton Davis at #23 (Los Angeles Rams), Christian Kirk at #26 (Atlanta), and Rashaan Evans at #27 (Pittsburgh).
