New Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren reportedly favors spring football season
There has been a lot of news happening in the Big Ten already this busy Saturday morning/afternoon.
Now, a huge new report has come out regarding first-year Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren and his preferences for the 2020 college football season.
Per Freep.com reporter David Jesse, Warren would prefer to move the football season to the spring:

In the piece, Jesse notes that, as of now, no final decision about the season’s timeline has been made:
Going into the call, the sources were told Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren preferred a spring football season, although no decision had been made.
An email to the Big Ten was not immediately returned.
The MAC already announced it was canceling fall sports on Saturday. A number of top Big Ten prospects — including Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman, Purdue WR Rondale Moore and Penn State LB Micah Parsons — have already opted out of the 2020 campaign.
