Week 10 has a slew of great conference games that has fans licking their chops for the weekend. Look no further than Auburn-Texas A&M, where the visiting Tigers will leave the state of Texas with a hard-earned win.

While the LSU-Alabama game has historical significance, the Crimson Tide will make a mockery of the Tigers on Saturday night. Vanderbilt and Tennessee finally ease their fans’ misery, grabbing wins after long droughts. Georgia asserts its dominance once again and smashes South Carolina at home.

No squad has a bye in Week 10. For all of the SEC teams in action this week, here are projections for margins of victory, ranked from losses/narrow wins to the biggest blowout.

14. South Carolina

Opponent: at Georgia

Bovada line: +24

Prediction: South Carolina loses by 27

Why: The Gamecocks are in for a rude awakening, facing a dominant Georgia team on the road. Jake Bentley will have pressure in his face all night long. Will Muschamp will move to 0-2 versus Kirby Smart at South Carolina.

13. LSU

Opponent: at Alabama

Bovada line: +21

Prediction: LSU loses by 24

Why: LSU doesn’t have the offense to keep pace with Alabama. Against conference opponents, the Tigers have averaged 22.8 points per game. Matt Canada’s offense hasn’t taken off like many thought it would. LSU will fight tooth and nail but fall to the Crimson Tide for a seventh consecutive game.

12. Ole Miss

Opponent: at Kentucky

Bovada line: +3 1/2

Prediction: Ole Miss loses by 10

Why: The Rebels have dropped two straight games and are without Shea Patterson for the rest of 2017. Matt Luke’s team endures another loss, despite a good effort.

11. Texas A&M

Opponent: vs. Auburn

Bovada line: +15

Prediction: Texas A&M loses by 7

Why: Last year, the Aggies stole a win at Auburn. In 2017, they won’t be able to keep the streak alive at home. Kellen Mond has played like a true freshman quarterback, throwing four interceptions in his last three games. In that stretch, Texas A&M has scored less than 17 points per game.

The Aggies will come out hungry after getting destroyed by Mississippi State at home last week. It won’t be enough as the visiting Tigers escape with a close victory. The drop-off in the second half of the season continues for Kevin Sumlin.

10. Missouri

Opponent: vs. Florida

Bovada line: -3 1/2

Prediction: Missouri loses by 3

Why: Barry Odom’s squad picked up a win on the road in Week 9, but you shouldn’t be sold on the Tigers. Against SEC foes, Missouri hasn’t captured one victory this season. That won’t change on Saturday afternoon.

9. Florida

Opponent: at Missouri

Bovada line: +3 1/2

Prediction: Florida wins by 3

Why: Missouri has given up 36.2 points per game at home in 2017. Regardless of who starts at quarterback for the Gators, the offense should be able to put up a sufficient number of points. It won’t be pretty, but Florida will find a way to salvage a win during a bleak season.

8. Auburn

Opponent: at Texas A&M

Bovada line: -15

Prediction: Auburn wins by 7

Why: Auburn should be well rested after a bye in Week 9. The Tigers still are mathematically eligible to win the SEC West, and winning on the road in Week 10 is crucial to that equation. The Tigers will rely on a stingy defense that has given up only 15.6 per game in 2017. Even without Kamryn Pettway, Auburn should have enough firepower to leave College Station happy.

7. Kentucky

Opponent: vs. Ole Miss

Bovada line: -3 1/2

Prediction: Kentucky wins by 10

Why: Mark Stoops has quietly led his team to a 6-2 record. The Wildcats beat Tennessee for the first time since 2011 in Week 9 and should be feeling positive about their chances against the Rebels. Kentucky hasn’t found a way to blow out a team yet and that will remain the same after Week 10. Regardless of the close matchup, the Wildcats earn their seventh win of the season.

6. Vanderbilt

Opponent: vs. Western Kentucky

Bovada line: -11 1/2

Prediction: Vanderbilt wins by 14

Why: Western Kentucky gave up over 261 yards rushing yards per game in the month of October. Ralph Webb and Khari Blasingame should be able to find some holes against the Hilltoppers’ defensive front. The Commodores finally stop the bleeding after a five-game losing streak.

5. Tennessee

Opponent: vs. Southern Miss

Bovada line: -7

Prediction: Tennessee wins by 17

Why: This could be the “last hurrah” for Butch Jones. Southern Miss played Kentucky earlier this season and  lost by only seven. The Volunteers will win more comfortably.

4. Alabama

Opponent: vs. LSU

Bovada line: -21

Prediction: Alabama wins by 24

Why: Alabama hasn’t stumbled all season and that trend will continue in Week 10. The Crimson Tide are allowing only 7.6 points per game to SEC opponents, and their offense is scoring 47.6 on average. Those numbers don’t bode well for LSU. The Crimson Tide have beaten the Tigers in six straight battles — soon to be seven.

3. Georgia

Opponent: vs. South Carolina

Bovada line: -24 1/2

Prediction: Georgia wins by 27

Why: South Carolina beat Vanderbilt by seven, Tennessee by six, and Missouri by 18. Georgia beat the Commodores by 31, the Volunteers by 41, and the Tigers by 25. Beyond looking at common opponents, the Bulldogs are a better team.

South Carolina’s defense ranks 103rd in third-down conversions, allowing opponents to gain first downs 43.8 percent of the time. The Bulldogs will be able to control the ball and dominate the game. Georgia moves one step closer to Atlanta.

2. Arkansas

Opponent: vs. Coastal Carolina

Bovada line: -23 1/2

Prediction: Arkansas wins by 31

Why: Bret Bielema and Arkansas overcame monstrous odds to defeat Ole Miss on the road after being down 31-7 in the second quarter. The Razorbacks will walk into Week 10 with an edge of confidence.

1. Mississippi State

Opponent: vs. UMass

Bovada line: -28

Prediction: Mississippi State wins by 38

Why: The Bulldogs surprised many by going on the road and crushing Texas A&M 35-14 after starting 0-2 in conference road games. Now, Dan Mullen’s team gets a breather versus 2-6 UMass, which is allowing more than 30 points to opponents this season.

Week 9 in review: Last week in this spot, we picked Vanderbilt to get walloped. The Commodores lost, but only by 7. Florida actually had the toughest time, losing by 35 to Georgia. … While we liked South Carolina to romp against Vandy, the biggest winner was actually Missouri, which won by 40 over UConn. (We of little faith — we had the Tigers losing. Oops.)
