Ryan Wingo has officially signed with Texas after committing the Longhorns in late October.

Usually, a commit following through on their pledge is not out of the ordinary, but Wingo was viewed by some as having major potential to flip on signing day following late pushes by Mizzou and Nebraska, especially the Tigers. Wingo is a St. Louis native and many thought he would originally commit to Eli Drinkwitz and Co. back in October.

But now, Wingo has made it official. He’s heading to Austin:

Wingo is considered to be the No. 12 prospect in the country and the No. 4 overall receiver in the Class of 2024 according to 247Sports. He stands at 6-2, 205 pounds and is officially Texas’ highest-rated prospect signed to this cycle as part of a Texas class that includes four 5-star prospects.

Texas boasts a top 5 class in the 2024 rankings, even without the addition of Wingo.
