Saturday’s Tiger Bowl at Auburn saw a serious swing of emotions.

The biggest gut punch was reserved for Auburn fans as LSU hit the winning field goal at the final gun, and the sad images of Auburn fans started pouring in.

The following two were filmed by CBS Sports, and they basically went viral on the Internet.

And there was this moment when Auburn surrendered a long touchdown:

But Auburn led the whole second half until that final play, so LSU fans had to endure their fair share of face-scrunching agony:

In the case of Arkansas (see top photo) it was less a case of sad fans being sad. More like sad fans just left during a loss at home against North Texas.

Or they just sent out Twitter gold like this:

TCU led Ohio State at halftime, but the second half gave Horned Frogs fans good reason to hit the Surrender Cobra pose:

Apart from Ohio State, the Big Ten mostly bombed out in nonconference play on Saturday. Right, Wisconsin fans?

Nebraska also carries a bucket full of tears after the Cornhuskers lost their sixth straight game dating to last season (their longest skid since 1957). This one came at home against Troy.

Emotional roller coaster, yes. But sad fans only feel the coaster’s dips.
