HOOVER, Ala. — Despite commissioner Greg Sankey living in Birmingham, he announced this week that SEC Media Days could be on the move in the near future.

The event might need to hit the reset button, as the proceedings in Hoover were a bit on the stale side this time around. According to Sankey, destinations like Atlanta, Nashville and even Dallas are in the running.

Sankey was kind enough to spend some time with us this week at the Wynfrey Hotel to talk about the overall strength of the conference, as there’s much more to his job than what happens on the football field. Additionally, why do there continue to be conversations about Auburn perhaps moving from the West to the East?
