SEC Media Days is always the unofficial official start to the college football season.

And on Wednesday, the conference released the player attendees for this year’s event. Six quarterbacks help headline the event: Austin Allen, Stephen Johnson, Drew Lock, Shea Patterson, Jake Bentley and Kyle Shurmur. The one notable absent quarterback is the reigning SEC Offensive Player of the Year, Jalen Hurts.

Oddly, there are no offensive skill positions heading to media days for Auburn. Not even Kamryn Pettway. But Gus Malzahn is bringing a kicker. Interestingly, Will Muschamp is actually sending three offensive players, which probably makes him cringe with the sight of no defensive players. I’m kidding, kind of.

The event starts Monday, July 10 and runs through Thursday, July 13.
