This offseason, not many fans were expecting Stetson Bennett IV to be the quarterback leading Georgia into Tuscaloosa for a showdown with Alabama. The way things have worked out in Athens, however, The Mailman is QB1 for Kirby Smart’s squad.

Through Week 3, Georgia is averaging 36 points per game. Bennett came off the bench in Game 1 and started the other two. The Alabama defense, meanwhile, is facing some harsh criticism after UA’s 63-48 win over Ole Miss.

The SEC Network shared an interesting bold prediction from analyst Jordan Rodgers on Friday night. Rodgers has Bennett accounting for 3 touchdowns, but also 3 turnovers. Bennett has made it through the Arkansas, Auburn and Tennessee games without an interception. With Alabama averaging 51 points per game on offense, giving the Crimson Tide extra possessions could mean trouble for the Bulldogs.

We’ll find out if Rodgers is right about Bennett and the Bama defense on Saturday night.
