Team-by-team recruiting ranking: SEC claims four of top six classes in the country
Another year and another recruiting ranking dominated by the University of Alabama.
The Crimson Tide have college football’s top recruiting class, and the SEC has five of the top 10 classes in the country, including four of the top six. Mississippi State has the SEC’s most commitments with 30, followed by South Carolina with 27.
It’s not surprising that Florida’s recruiting class is in limbo following the firing of Will Muschamp. The Gators could finish rather strong in recruiting, with multiple five-star leans, and the new coach will only help that.
Rivalry week is just more about the results on the field. Multiple big-time prospects will take in the Iron Bowl and Egg Bowl, as well as the recruiting battleground of Florida for the Gators and Seminoles.
