Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus, wasn’t recruited out of high school just because of his father’s name. Broadus was a four-star wide receiver recruit in the class of 2015 and was the No. 2-ranked player in the state of Nevada according to 247 Sports.

Despite his talent, and accepting a scholarship offer to play at UCLA in the Pac-12, Broadus was confirmed as not being a part of the team on Monday.

The 6-foot-2 wide receiver quit the team before the 2015 season to pursue other interests, but re-joined in March saying he missed the game. Broadus was taken on as a walk-on at that point, but has since, quit again.

According to tmz.com, the former pass-catching star has expressed his interest in movie making, modeling and pushing an underwear line.
