Urban Meyer is the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and things aren’t going well for him in Year 1.
The Jaguars are currently 2-9. If not for the disastrous season the Detroit Lions are having, Jacksonville would have the worst record in the NFL.
But, according to a report from ESPN’s Michael DiRocco, Meyer is not interested in heading back to the college ranks:
Filed to ESPN: Per a league source, Jaguars coach Urban Meyer has no interest in taking another college coaching job and remains committed to rebuilding the franchise.

Meyer has long been rumored to covet the Notre Dame job — a position that is now open after Brian Kelly left for LSU.
But, it seems that ship has sailed. Now, the only question involves how long he’ll be around in Jacksonville as the Jaguars continue to rebuild.
