Defending SEC East champion Missouri travels to Columbia, S.C., on Saturday in a rematch of the game that determined the division a season ago. College GameDay will broadcast live from the Gamecocks campus.

Big game, right? Yes, until South Carolina looked flat at Vanderbilt and Missouri laid an egg vs. Indiana.

To take a step back, the Tigers have yet to play an SEC game, while the Gamecocks need to win to keep an advantage against Georgia in the SEC East. It still matters. So what did the lackluster Saturday do to the line? South Carolina opened as a touchdown favorite Sunday as Vegas sports books posted the early point spreads.

Vegas doesn’t expect many competitive games involving SEC teams next Saturday. The next-closest line features Texas A&M as a 13-point favorite against Arkansas in Arlington, Texas. Though Vanderbilt hung tough with SC on Saturday, the Commodores still are a two-touchdown road dog against Kentucky.

LSU faces the largest spread, needing 44 points to cover in a home game against Sun Belt foe New Mexico State.

Here are the rest of the Week 5 lines. Alabama, Florida and Mississippi State are off.

Auburn’s streak of 13 consecutive ATS wins ended Thursday in a 20-14 win at Kansas State. Those Tigers closed as a 7.5-point favorite. LSU also entered the weekend unbeaten ATS after a push last week against Louisiana-Monroe, but lost as a touchdown favorite at home. The Tigers of Baton Rouge opened as a 10-point favorite, but action on Mississippi State pushed the line down three points by kickoff.

Ole Miss and Kentucky are 3-0 against the spread, the only SEC teams that remain unbeaten against the Vegas line. The Rebels and Wildcats didn’t play last week.

Vanderbilt picked up its first ATS win of the season in a 14-point home loss to South Carolina, while Alabama improved to 1-2 in Vegas by doubling Florida, 42-21.
