San Francisco wide receiver Deebo Samuel will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Samuel, who signed a three-year deal with $58.1 million in guaranteed salary before the 2022 season, has not been able to repeat his All-Pro level of production from the 2021 season. Through seven games, Samuel has 32 catches for 387 yards and two touchdowns.

A former second-round pick (36th overall) in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ole Miss, Samuel was a first-team All-American with the Rebels in 2018.
