The South Carolina Gamecocks got some bad news recently, as it was revealed that former Louisville player Brian Bowen would not be able to play in 2018-19. Therefore, he kept his name in the NBA Draft.

Now, though, the Gamecocks have added some experience to their roster, as former George Washington guard Jair Bolden has reportedly committed to South Carolina.

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reported that Bolden would head to Columbia on Twitter on Saturday morning:

Bolden retweeted Rothstein’s tweet, so it appears the news is official, which is good for the Gamecocks. Bolden will likely have to sit out the 2018-19 season due to NCAA transfer rules, but he’ll have two years remaining when he takes the court.

Last year, he averaged 11.2 points, 3.1 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 32 games for George Washington.
