Old Dominion and coach Bobby Wilder parted ways earlier this offseason, leaving a vacancy atop the Monarchs’ coaching staff.
Who will the Monarchs hire to replace Wilder? Well, according to a report from Friday night, it could be a current SEC assistant.
Per ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, South Carolina DC Travaris Robinson is being mentioned as a candidate for the job:
#OldDominion coaching search ramping up. Hear that Penn State offensive coordinator Ricky Rahne is in the mix there. South Carolina defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson also a name being mentioned for the Monarchs job.

Robinson has been on Will Muschamp’s staff at South Carolina since 2016, serving as defensive coordinator the past four years.
Will he be on the move? Or, will Old Dominion go a different direction with the new hire? The coaching carousel is spinning, folks!
