South Carolina linebacker Ernest Hawkins is looking to transfer from the school, according to GamecockCentral’s Chris Clark.

That makes three South Carolina defenders in a four-day span who are no longer with the team as it was reported on Saturday that head coach Will Muschamp dismissed defensive end David Johnson and defensive back Al Harris.

Hawkins only recorded 1 tackle while appearing in six games last season for the Gamecocks after transferring to the school from Hartnell College, a junior college in Salinas, Ca.
