South Carolina has started the season 3-3, with all three of its losses coming against SEC opponents.

The Gamecocks have a chance to get back on track when they return to action on Saturday at home against Tennessee.

After losing to Texas A&M on Oct. 13, South Carolina had its bye week. On Tuesday, Gamecocks quarterback Jake Bentley discussed what the team worked on during its week off when he addressed the media.

“Really focused on taking care of the ball and doing whatever we can to make a play, whether the throw needs to be a little bit better or getting extra reps to the receivers on deeper balls,” Bentley said, according to a video from The Big Spur on YouTube. “Just woking on a lot of stuff to get more productive offensively.”

Bentley has passed for 1,151 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, but he has thrown seven interceptions. The junior didn’t play in the Gamecocks’ win over Missouri on Oct. 6 due to injury.

The Gamecocks and Vols are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
