College Football Odds 2023: Futures, Props & Betting Lines
College Football Odds 2023 features many of the same big schools and names at the top of the list, of course, led by the powerful SEC. Considering recent history, how could the SEC not lead the way?
The College Football Playoff is divided sort of like this at the moment: There’s Georgia, winners of back-to-back national titles, and then there’s everybody else.

CFP National Championship Odds 2024 (2023 FBS Season)
Of course it would be Georgia leading the way. Having won back-to-back titles, Kirby Smart has his Bulldogs positioned as the favorites to win a third in a row. A three-peat hasn’t been done in several decades in college football (dating back to Minnesota, yes, Minnesota, in 1934, 1935 and 1936).
Alabama, Ohio State and Michigan round out the top 4, giving the SEC and B1G 2 of the title favorites apiece. Here’s a look at the teams with the best odds to win it all this season.
Heisman Trophy Odds 2023
Caleb Williams of USC is back for 1 last ride at USC after winning the 2022 Heisman Trophy. Can he do it again? If he does, will USC make the Playoff? Those are some of the biggest questions entering the 2023 college football season.
Elsewhere in the Heisman Trophy race, it’s quarterbacks galore. That’s not unusual, as quarterbacks usually dominate the Heisman Trophy odds. In fact, you have to go through 11 quarterbacks before you find the non-QB with the best Heisman odds. That would be Ohio State star WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
Right now, Williams is the betting favorite to win the prestigious trophy again, but we know how difficult it is for preseason favorites to lift the Heisman in December.
Here’s a look at all the players who have +5000 or better odds of winning the 2023 Heisman Trophy:
|Caleb Williams (QB, USC)||+500|
|Jordan Travis (QB, Florida State)||+1000|
|Drake Maye (QB, North Carolina)||+1200|
|Sam Hartman (QB, Notre Dame)||+1300|
|Bo Nix (QB, Oregon)||+1300|
|Michael Penix Jr. (QB, Washington)||+1400|
|Quinn Ewers (QB, Texas)||+1600|
|Jayden Daniels (QB, LSU)||+1800|
|Carson Beck (QB, Georgia)||+2000|
|Kyle McCord (QB, Ohio State)||+2200|
|Cade Klubnik (QB, Clemson)||+2200|
|JJ McCarthy (QB, Michigan)||+2500|
|Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR, Ohio State)||+2500|
|Drew Allar (QB, Penn State)||+2500|
|Joe Milton ( QB, Tennessee)||+2500|
|Blake Corum (RB, Michigan)||+2800|
|TreVeyon Henderson (RB, Ohio State)||+3000|
|Brock Vandagriff (QB, Georgia)||+3500|
|Dillon Gabriel (QB, Oklahoma)||+3500|
|Quinshon Judkins (RB, Ole Miss)||+5000|
|Nick Singleton (RB, Penn State)||+5000|
Conference Championship Odds 2023
The College Football Playoff will be a 4-team affair for the final time this year. Next season, it will expand to a 12-team field. Still, winning a conference championship will be of utmost importance this fall.
A conference championship is still a major deal—no matter the size of the conference. So next, let’s break down the odds for every team in the FBS to win its league championship in 2023, starting with (of course) the SEC:
SEC Championship Odds 2023
Who else but Georgia? The Bulldogs are odds-on favorites to win the SEC title, checking in at -110. Alabama and LSU are also given decent odds, but those are the only 3 SEC teams given a +1000 or better chance to lift the trophy in Atlanta.
Here’s a look at the odds for all 14 SEC teams to win a conference championship:
ACC Championship Odds 2023
For the first time in a while, Clemson has some competition in the preseason ACC title odds. In fact, the Tigers aren’t the favorites to win the conference in 2023. That honor goes to the Florida State Seminoles, who are a darkhorse College Football Playoff pick this year. Here are the full odds for every team in the ACC:
Big 12 Championship Odds 2023
This year will be a unique one in the Big 12. Texas and Oklahoma are playing their final seasons in the Big 12, while UCF, Houston, Cincinnati and BYU are playing their first. That means 14 teams are competing for a league title in 2023 before the Big 12 goes back to 12 teams in 2024.
Here are the odds for each of the teams to win the league championship this season:
Big Ten Championship Odds 2023
Michigan has won the Big Ten title in back-to-back years, but the Ohio State Buckeyes enter 2023 as the favorites to win the conference. Below, you can see the odds for 13 of the 14 B1G teams to win the league crown. (Neither DraftKings nor FanDuel list Rutgers’ odds or odds for any other New Jersey schools.)
Pac-12 Championship Odds 2023
USC had the Heisman Trophy winner last year, but didn’t win the Pac-12 championship. That honor went to Utah. But entering the 2023 season, Utah only has the fourth-best odds to repeat as Pac-12 champs. The Trojans are the favorites, followed by Oregon and Washington. Here’s a look at each team’s odds to hoist the Pac-12 trophy this December:
AAC Championship Odds 2023
The AAC looks a lot different this year, with Cincinnati, Houston and UCF all off to the Big 12. But there should still be plenty of excitement when it comes to who wins the AAC crown in 2023. That’s because 5 different teams (Tulane, SMU, UTSA, Memphis and FAU) all have better than +700 odds to win the league. Here’s a look at how the AAC odds break down:
Conference USA Championship Odds 2023
Conference USA has been decimated by conference realignment heading into the 2023 season. Only 7 teams will compete for a league title this year, with Western Kentucky checking in as the favorite. Here’s a look at the Conference USA championship odds:
|New Mexico State||+3500|
MAC Championship Odds 2023
MACtion is sure to be exciting once again in 2023. Toledo is the favorite to win the league crown, but other schools, including Ohio, are also in the mix according to oddsmakers. Here’s a breakdown of each MAC team’s odds to earn the league crown this fall:
Mountain West Championship Odds 2023
It’s a blue field thing, of course. Boise State has the best odds, once again, of earning the Mountain West title in 2023. Check out which teams could be the Broncos’ biggest challengers this fall:
|San Diego State||+650|
|San Jose State||+1200|
Sun Belt Championship Odds 2023
South Alabama and Troy are holding it down for the Yellowhammer State! The Jaguars and Trojans are the favorites to win the Sun Belt title in 2023. Here’s a look at each team’s current odds to win it all:
