College Football Odds 2023 Week 1 Betting Lines

Week 1 of the 2023 College Football season kicks off with a few excellent matchups on the plate. Highlighting the week is a Georgia-Clemson tilt that’ll go a long way in determining the fate of the campaign’s National Championship picture.

CFP National Championship Odds 2024 (2023 FBS Season)

Of course it would be Georgia leading the way. Having won back-to-back titles, Kirby Smart has his Bulldogs positioned as the favorites to win a third in a row. A three-peat hasn’t been done in several decades in college football (dating back to Minnesota, yes, Minnesota, in 1934, 1935 and 1936).

Alabama, Ohio State and Michigan round out the top 4, giving the SEC and B1G 2 of the title favorites apiece. Here’s a look at the teams with the best odds to win it all this season.

Heisman Trophy Odds 2023

Caleb Williams of USC is back for 1 last ride at USC after winning the 2022 Heisman Trophy. Can he do it again? If he does, will USC make the Playoff? Those are some of the biggest questions entering the 2023 college football season.

Elsewhere in the Heisman Trophy race, it’s quarterbacks galore. That’s not unusual, as quarterbacks usually dominate the Heisman Trophy odds. In fact, you have to go through 11 quarterbacks before you find the non-QB with the best Heisman odds. That would be Ohio State star WR Marvin Harrison Jr.

Right now, Williams is the betting favorite to win the prestigious trophy again, but we know how difficult it is for preseason favorites to lift the Heisman in December.

Conference Championship Odds 2023

The College Football Playoff will be a 4-team affair for the final time this year. Next season, it will expand to a 12-team field. Still, winning a conference championship will be of utmost importance this fall.

A conference championship is still a major deal—no matter the size of the conference. So next, let’s break down the odds for every team in the FBS to win its league championship in 2023, starting with (of course) the SEC:

SEC Championship Odds 2023

Who else but Georgia? The Bulldogs are odds-on favorites to win the SEC title, checking in at -110. Alabama and LSU are also given decent odds, but those are the only 3 SEC teams given a +1000 or better chance to lift the trophy in Atlanta.

ACC Championship Odds 2023

For the first time in a while, Clemson has some competition in the preseason ACC title odds. In fact, the Tigers aren’t the favorites to win the conference in 2023. That honor goes to the Florida State Seminoles, who are a darkhorse College Football Playoff pick this year. Here are the full odds for every team in the ACC:

Big 12 Championship Odds 2023

This year will be a unique one in the Big 12. Texas and Oklahoma are playing their final seasons in the Big 12, while UCF, Houston, Cincinnati and BYU are playing their first. That means 14 teams are competing for a league title in 2023 before the Big 12 goes back to 12 teams in 2024.

Big Ten Championship Odds 2023

Michigan has won the Big Ten title in back-to-back years, but the Ohio State Buckeyes enter 2023 as the favorites to win the conference. Pac-12 Championship Odds 2023

USC had the Heisman Trophy winner last year, but didn’t win the Pac-12 championship. That honor went to Utah. But entering the 2023 season, Utah only has the fourth-best odds to repeat as Pac-12 champs. The Trojans are the favorites, followed by Oregon and Washington. AAC Championship Odds 2023

The AAC looks a lot different this year, with Cincinnati, Houston and UCF all off to the Big 12. But there should still be plenty of excitement when it comes to who wins the AAC crown in 2023.
