Boston College trolled on Twitter after signing apparel and footwear deal with New Balance
After being an Under Armour school for the past several years, Boston College is switching things up in the apparel/footwear department.
On Tuesday, the Eagles announced that they had inked a 10-year deal with New Balance, which will begin on June 1, 2021.
As you can see below, the school announced the deal with New Balance via a tweet:

New Balance is headquartered in Boston, so this move does make sense for both the Eagles and the company. We’ll see if the Eagles have more athletic success under New Balance than they did with Under Armour.
